• Yes, They Got Me Too
• I wonder often, why I do what I do
• I chased the paper, a degree
• Greedily learned insanity
• I chased the vapor, promising higher salary
• I borrowed for the home, the cars, the best
• I was out there, way out there, thinking I was wiser
• but doing the same as the rest
• but because I was could afford better
• believing they were the dumbest
• Now  I sit and think, if I were so smart
• why didn’t I perceive this con from the start
• how did I get caught up in Irrational Exuberance
• from paying more, just because I could
• Doing what I was doing, instead of what I should
• how, how did it happen to me
• Mr. Thoughtful, Mr. Thinker, Mr. Wanna-Be
• goes to show the powerful difference
• between those who know and ignorance
• I fell in Love with the Idea of me being above others
• instead of the value of me being among others
• I fell in love with being the cynosure
• the center of attention,
• of being the most honorably mentioned
• an Ego in need, is greed,
• the most insatiable thing to feed
• if only I had understood
• all was driven by my innate desire, to Feel Good
• Life, so unfair, feeds us, at our weakest state
• toxins more powerful than Jesus,
• before we take a step, often sealing our Fate
• the perpetual desire to Feel Good
• it’s the first language we Learn
• watch any mother with her baby child
• in the womb, she thinks, she speaks,
• feel good, nurtures, feel good
• communicates, feel good, until it is understood
• the driver of your Life is to, Feel Good
• thus with an Ego, Life anoints us
• so our vision, collides reality, into a kaleidoscope,
• where we bend the light of sight
• not into what is, but what we hope
• a prism, where one beam is split into many
• views, opinions, perceptions, all to serve
• in making us believe we are happy
• due to what we have and who we are, at the time
• those who know how to play with our minds
• don’t use force, only strum the maternal cord
• confining us to doing, thinking whatever, makes us Feel Good
• and we, with open eyes, are blind to doing what we should
• leaving us vulnerable to Life’s illusions and tricks
• it comes down to this, are your decisions, driven by you
• or has Feel Good, turned Ego, open to other forces
