- depending upon what you believe
- we, African-Americans, perceived
- as Step-in-Fetch-it
- or some terrified fat-Black-clown
- always quick to serve and fast to back down
- Two Brothers, self-hatred, driven by lies
- fast forward to the present
- one envisions a changing sentiment
- that benign neglect,
- is becoming mutual respect
- after years of neo-colonial inspired infighting
- Africa is war fatigued and desires uniting
- wanting development and to develop fast
- filling the gap with what she’s been missing
