- No Country Loves Its Woman
- more than, hmm let’s see
- over here, they’re slapped, beaten,
- talked to, disrespected like children
- there, they wear curtains, not clothes
- there, there they are paraded naked
- like nude sex slaves for life
- here, here, I divorce thee, three times
- and they’re no longer a wife
- over there, look, they can’t drive or go to school
- everywhere, prostitution, is their consort
- when the institution of marriage
- provides no comfort
- see over there, they’re still battling
- for political, social, economic and Human Rights
- They are Human Beings, not chattel property
- Human Beings, deserving Respect and Dignity
- they not ogres, sex toys, elves or Tinkerbells
- and if left alone, They will correct Themselves…R.D.Revilo

- We Have To Learn to Accept
- Manage, Tolerate, Cope
- with our disappointments, no regrets
- when I was younger than twenty
- I met this gorgeous woman
- felt a little something between her and me
- went to tell my Friend, but instead
- found her crawling naked out of his bed
- frozen, well he and I still remained friends
- but anger, humiliation and disappointment
- would never let me speak to her again
- then there was my Father and me
- he was a technician
- so, to show, pride, I, as his son
- was not attrition, but an addition
- why, my Brother had a crack addiction
- but, me, I wanted to give something back
- when I walked, got my engineering degree
- I was so happy, called him to share my glee
- only to have Him speak these words
- Don’t Step On me
- I still feel the pound of how profound
- that sudden stop, knocked me down
- but I learned, out of a thousand tries
- 999 will beat me to the ground
- but I am always getting up
- Always and in All ways, on the rebound…R.D.Revilo
- Once There Was Little or No Divorce
- then things changed for the strange
- Hollywood made marriage appear, obscene
- that philandering, was living the Dream
- Shame and embarrassment stigmatized
- Divorce, and Children were traumatized
- No Mother, No Father under the same roof
- orphans, adoptions, childless homes
- suddenly, a change, strange,
- Gay marriage is the new norm
- and these homes come with adoptees
- with Love, discipline, warmth and plenty
- of food and care, while the Husband and Wife
- dedicated for Life, has become a situation of despair
- strange, the change, we’re Living
- the power of socially, orientated, engineering
- of, without thought, imitating what you see
- this is how we learn, copying what’s in sight
- repeating until we get it right
- then storing it into memory
- so any act placed on display
- potentially, becomes the rationalization
- of the day, strange thing about change
- the old, returns, as the new way...R.D.Revilo
